The Cookie Witch – Terms and Conditions for Making an order
1. Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order with The Cookie Witch, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms may be updated from time to time, and it is your responsibility to review them prior to placing each order.
2. Orders
a. Order Placement: All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion.
b. Custom Orders: Custom orders may be subject to additional charges based on complexity and customization requests.
c. Last Minute Orders: A last-minute order is any order placed with less than 7 days of notice prior to the requested date of service.
- Service Charge: A non-refundable charge of $20 will be applied to all last-minute orders.
- No Refund Policy: No refunds will be issued for last-minute orders once payment has been made.
- Confirmation: The acceptance of a last-minute order is subject to confirmation by the service provider.
- Limited Options: The availability of specific services, products, or options may be limited for last-minute orders. Clients will be informed of any limitations at the time of inquiry.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellation of a last-minute order will result in forfeiture of the total service charge.
- Alterations and Changes: No changes or alterations to a last-minute order are accepted.
- Liability: The service provider shall not be held liable for any inconvenience, loss, or damages arising from the acceptance or non-acceptance of a last-minute order.
- Acceptance: By placing a last-minute order, the client acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions outlined herein.
3. Payment
a. Payment Methods: We currently accept Interac e-Transfer. Payment is required at the time of placing the order.
b. Pricing: Prices are as stated on our website and are subject to change. Any changes will not affect orders for which we have already sent an order confirmation.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
a. Cancellations: Cancellations are accepted, but must be notified at least 1 week prior to pick-up date. After this period, cancellations may not be possible.
b. Refunds: Refunds due to cancellations are accepted through the same payment method.
5. Quality and Satisfaction
a. Quality Assurance: We take pride in the quality of our products. If you believe there is an issue with the quality of your order, please contact us within 2 hours of receipt.
b. Customer Satisfaction: Your satisfaction is important to us. We will work to address any concerns or issues promptly and to the best of our ability.
6. Privacy and Data Security
a. Privacy Policy: We respect your privacy. The information we collect is only for processing your order.
7. Ingredients and Allergies
a. Ingredients: This is a list of ingredients we use for our cookies: All-purpose flour, sugar powder, vanilla extract, yolk eggs, milk, butter, sugar powder, meringue powder, corn syrup, water
b. Allergies: Attention customers with food allergies. Please be aware that our food may contain or come into contact with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, etc. Note that The Cookie Witch has specify all ingredients in advance and is not responsible for any possible allergic reaction.
8. Delivery and Liability Clause
By placing an order and ordering an Uber to pick up your cookies or any other third-party delivery service, you agree to the following terms:
Transfer of Responsibility: Once the cookies are picked up by the Uber driver or any designated third-party delivery personnel, our responsibility for the order ceases. The delivery process and any issues arising thereafter, including but not limited to delays, damages, or loss of the product, fall under the purview of the third-party delivery service.
Third-Party Delivery Service Terms: The client acknowledges and agrees to adhere to the terms and conditions of the third-party delivery service (e.g., Uber) used for the delivery of their order. Any disputes or claims regarding the delivery should be directed to the respective third-party service provider.
Notification of Pickup: The client understands and agrees that we are not responsible for notifying them when the cookies have been picked up by the Uber driver or third-party delivery personnel. It is the client’s responsibility to track the delivery through the third-party service’s platform.
No Refunds or Replacements: We are not responsible for any refunds or replacements once the cookies have been handed over to the Uber driver or third-party delivery personnel. Any compensation or recourse must be sought directly from the delivery service provider in accordance with their policies.
By proceeding with the order, the client agrees to the terms outlined above and acknowledges that the responsibility for the delivery of the cookies lies solely with the third-party delivery service upon pickup.
